Storage 2 U is an innovative new concept in Self Storage, bringing your storage unit right to your door.
The business began operations in 2008 and has gathered quite a fan club from those who have used the service. Located at 411 Blenheim Road, Storage2u operates from a large purpose-built modern warehouse and office facility. Complete with security fences, cameras, high spec alarms and regular security monitoring, your goods couldn't be safer. The modern building is dry and clean, while the wooden storage containers let your goods breathe: meaning less chance of mould or other contaminants.
Our self storage facility is located at Airport Business Park, 92 Russley Rd, Christchurch.

How it works
We load a Storage Unit onto a purpose built trolley, then we cover it with our weatherproof PVC Storage Skins.
The Storage Unit is then winched into the trailer and delivered to your home or business.
The Storage Unit is unloaded and secured at your place, ready for you to begin the packing process. (If your driveway is steep or too narrow, we may decide to leave the unit on the trailer and wait while you fill it). We need 14m from nose to tail when unloading you unit, so please make sure you have plenty of room to manouver. We can only unload and leave your unit on hard surfaces such as tarseal, concrete and gravel (provided it's not too deep).
Once your Storage Unit has been packed and you have locked it, we come back and winch the unit onto our trailer and take it back to Storage2u premises. Here your unit is unloaded, the cover is removed, it is lifted off it's trolley and stacked with all the other units in the warehouse.
When you are ready for delivery we bring it back out to your door, ready to be unloaded.
Access
Access to your Storage Unit is by appointment - we try to accomodate all your needs, but we ask for 24 hours notice. We are mostly in the office, but due to the nature of "mobile" storage it is also likely that we may be out on deliveries. One phone call could save you a wait when you arrive.
Safety
All staff are trained to follow our strict OSH procedures - these procedures are in place for their safety and yours, so please follow any directions they give when loading and unloading at your home or business. They will also assist you in best practice for loading and unloading your storage unit.
