Our 3 storage unit sizes are:
- 6 Pack - 6 cubic metres 1.8m wide x 1.8m high x 1.8m deep = boxes small furniture items
- 10 Pack – 10 cubic metres 1.8m wide x 2.4m high x 2.4m deep = holds 1 bedroom unit
- 12 Pack – 12 cubic metres 1.8m wide x 2.4m high x 3m deep = holds a 2 bedroom unit (small garage size)
When choosing sizes to suit you, make sure you take note of the outer dimensions of the storage units and measure any large items
of furniture to ensure they will fit.
There are some items that we just can’t store for you. Please read our Prohibited items list for more details, or give us a call on 0800 749 722.
Please note that the maximum weight per storage unit is 1500 kgs.
Space Estimation
House lots are described as small or large. This refers to the quantity and bulk of the furniture. A large home lot would include everything out of the home boxed-up and all the furniture, plus maybe some outdoor goods.
Note: 1 x 12 pack is size of a small garage.
Size depends on:
Whether furniture can be broken down and flat stacked. You are advised to break furniture down as much as possible and to fill every available space.
Don’t forget to include your outdoor furniture when estimating your space requirements
Beds: our 6 pack is too small for a double bed or larger. You will require a 10 or 12 pack if you have bedroom furniture to store.
Any large furniture should be measured to make sure it will fit into the size unit you have chosen.
Don’t forget to read through the items that you are not permitted to store and if in doubt: give us a call to check.
